Seven day stay from 7.13 to 7.20.26. We were able to check in very early without any difficulty. Absolutely nothing but good things to say. EVERYTHING was clean, organized, very tidy, and the rooms were GREAT! EVERYTHING in the rooms worked as it should, nothing broken or in disrepair. Ample parking, and the best thing was that not once did I worry about security. It was quiet, despite Holiday Inn being the host hotel for the USFA's Smokey Mountain Nationals Girls Softball Tournament, and Holiday Inn Express serving as 'overflow' host. The breakfast buffet ran from about 0600 to 0930 or so. There was a wide variety of offerings, it was always good fare, and nothing 'ran out'. There were evening get togethers in the lobby and breakfast area, with complimentary drinks and snacks. MOST OF ALL, the front office, housekeeping, and maintenance staff were TOP NOTCH, very friendly, and no issues with bookings or anything else we may have needed...very accommodating. Who cares if its not 'The Ritz', the value is certainly there and it's a GREAT place for families and kids. KUDOS TO THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS IN JOHNSON CITY TENNESSEE!!!

Comfortable beds, pillows; good size rooms, parking is a challenge— they only have what is in front of the building- nothing around back. The first night, we had to park a truck and motorcycle trailer down at the Cul-de-sac and walk back up the hill. We did get to move the next morning, but be sure to call ahead if you’ve got more than a regular size vehicle. Breakfast was good every morning, and coffee was great!
